Campus Ministry includes four major areas. Students are taught about God and how to know Him better, students are also given opportunities to build healthy relationships, they can grow on a personal level through small groups, retreats, and service projects, and mission trips and students are challenged and given the opportunity to serve their peers by taking on their own volunteer position within the campus ministry.

New Churches of Christ Evangelism:

They look for growing areas that do not have a Church of Christ/Christian Church, find a nucleus of people in the area desiring to have a new church and raise funds to help provide church facilities and personnel during the formative years of the new church.
Our 2006 Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic

Thirty-three people from the Ionia County Church of Christ went to the Dominican Republic from August 2 - 9, 2006 with GO Ministries to serve the needs of the people.

We had three different groups while we were there:
Group #1 - Construction Crew helped to set the concrete foundation for a church and feeding center and we dug a 10' x 10' hole for a water cistern.
Group #2 - Children Bible School Group went to 6 different churches (2 places per day) to teach, do crafts, sing and do puppet shows about God for the children.
Group #3 - Medical Group went up into the Mountains where the people had not had a doctor visit in 7 years.  They treated 625 people in 2 days and provided over $30,000 worth of medication.

We went down into a Valley in Santiago that was a garbage dump where more than 500 families live.  We helped feed about 100 kids lunch and played and did crafts, sang and did a puppet show about God.

One day we went up into the Mountains where the Medical Group had treated people and evangelized and fellowshipped with the people about taking care of their souls and their bodies.

It was a very rewarding and inspiring experience.

If God wills, our plans are for another mission trip in 2008
